Bottle split at Cotts Convention 2, thanks to the Cotts team, 05/03/16. Black with a decent tan cap. Nose is cardboard, light cocoa powder, toffee, malt. Taste comprises light roast, charr, spice, bitter chocolate.Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Not too bad.

Bottle thanks to the Cotteridge Wines guys at the 2016 Cotteridge Convention. It pours black with a medium tan head. The nose is toasted malt, bitter- sweet, roasted maltage, liquorice and umami. The taste is crisp, bitter, ashy, roasted malt, earth, umami and cheap coffee with a dry, acidic finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Pretty cheap and rough around the edges. Not great.

Bottle shared at the Cotteridge Convention - 2016 edition. Cheers! Pours clear, oily brown with a creamy, tan head. The nose holds butterscotch, toffee. Medium sweet flavour with some lightly tangy dark fruits, metal, ash and earth. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Ashy bitter finish, with more cocoa and metal. Fairly mediocre.
