Seasonal Beer.
Our bokbier that rings in the autumn every year. Dark and full-bodied, but not as sweet as you would expect. The fine, light brown head holds for a long time while the dark, black-brown beer releases the aromas of the roasted malt: brown sugar, caramel and beautiful, dark fruit. The aftertaste is pleasantly dry.

Bottle from Albert Heijn. Clear dark amber with a lasting, foamy, tan head. Aroma of red apple, pear, burnt caramel, wood, raisin, green tea, dried banana. Taste has sweet apple, raisin & banana, a bit caramelly, herbal & spicy bitter, bit nutty. Woody, herbal hoppy finish, dried fruit, a bit toasty. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation. Decent brew.

Fles gedeeld door Inoven. Het is een donkerbruin bier met een volle schuimkraag. Het aroma van mout en caramel. De smaak is gebrande mout, koffie en caramel, met een hint van drop.

Bottle. Dark brown color. Malt and laurel in the aroma. Sweet flavor with roast and pear drups. Hints of laurel and licorice. Pleasurable, but I expected better. Earlier Rating: 10/15/2004, as ’t IJ biobock. Total Score: 3.4 Malt and cinnamon aroma and flavor. Sweetish bock, medium bodied with a hint of licorice.

Poured at home using the Sub. Lively pour but it settled down. Lovely clear red beer. Slightly funky smell but the flavour is nice. Malt, caramel, fruit. A bit of bitter hop too. Decent. Doesn't taste it's strength.
