Keg at TFRNV, Bristol. Sampled Oct 2016. Pours unclear brown with a beige to tan cap. Aroma: sweet malts, caramel, toffee, pine. Taste: moderate sweet & bitter, biscuit, caramel, toffee, touch of molasses, spicy hints. Medium body with light carbonation.

Bottle consumed at Electric Bear Taproom, Friday 3rd February 2017 It’s following a well trodden path but it’s a damn good red IPA, soft in the mouth. steady bitterness, a little numbing hoppiness, good fruity bite throughout, good furriness coats roof of the mouth. Loz love’s this, hoppy burps aplenty. I’m sure it’s been done many times before but believe me this is v.good. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.8

Craft Islington. Keg. Cloudy brown beer, tidy pale tan head. Smooth palate, dry. Decent fine minerally carbonation. Mildly sweet malts, some toffee. Spicy ripe fruits, spicy pine. Dry finish. Not bad. End of the keg so maybe a little tired.

Keg at CBC Islington, 24/11/16. Murky reddish brown with a decent light beige cap. Nose is caramel malt, candied fruit peel, earthy hop strokes, light pine. Taste comprises bubblegum, bitter orange, caramel, biscuit, fruit rinds. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close dashed with hop bitterness. Ok for style.

Tap @ CBC Brixton, small sample. Slight hazy amber color, short frothy head. Aroma of caramel, toffee, bit grapefruit and pine. Medium bitterness, sweet toffee and caramel. Liked it.

Draft @ Euston Tap, Euston NW1. Pours a dark amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty spicy piney hoppy caramel aroma. Fruity malty piney hoppy bitter caramel flavor. Has a fruity malty spicy hoppy bitter caramel finish.
