High Wycombe House Warming. Thanks to Colin. Lightly hazy dark brown beer, small pale tan head. Smooth airy palate, decent fine carbonation. Fluffy dark chocolate streaked malts, a little malt cream. Nice fruity bourbon. Mild coconut and then more dark chocolate. Airy spicy finish. Very nice.

Bottle shared in High Wycombe - thanks to Cloin. Pours rich black-brown with a foamy, beige head. The nose holds toffee, toasted coconut, a bit of cocoa. Medium to heavy sweet flavour with ample semi-dark malts, burnt wood, toffee, raisins and other dried berries, some alcohol, down bread. Full bodied, oily and chewy, with fine carbonation. Warming finish with rich dark sugars, more raisins, coconut, rich bread, chocolate. Reall, really rich. Lots of fun.

Sample at the brewpub during the bottle sale weekend on 05/08/2015. Murky dark brown color with a medium thin khaki head that recedes quickly to an outer ring. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of roast malt, chocolate, berries and oak. Full-bodied with flavors of oaky bourbon, chocolate malt, mildly tart berries and vanilla. The finish is roasty malt and bourbon. Really good beer.
