Can at L42. It pours darkest brown with a medium tan head. The aroma is rich roast, toasty pine, dark chocolate, orange peel, ash and cocoa. The taste is bitter, charred wood, ashy, leather, charcoal, orange rind, pithy, zesty, coffee grounds and pepper with a drying finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. A bit toothy, but decent anyhow.

Can shared in London - thanks to Mitch. Pours clear, hearty brown with a creamy, tan head. The nose holds well toasted grains, light roast, hints of dry cocoa. Light-medium sweet flavour with mild earthy bitterness, some toasted pine, brown bread. Medium bodied with velvety carbonation. A little bland in the finish, more toasted bread, burnt grains. So so.
