Leighton’s flat clearance. Clear gold beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Palate is light, semi dry and has modest fine carbonation. Light malts, mildly sweet. Light grapefruit into some bitter floralness. Light dry finish. Fine.

Bottle split at Bespin thanks to Smith, 19/09/16. Clear golden with a decent off white cap, carbonation well evident. Nose is lemon rind, straw, yeast esters, candy, light white pepper, bread dough, subdued orange. Taste comprises bread, apricot, grass, light spice, yeast esters, lemon drizzle, hint of farmyard. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Tasty enough saison that refreshes!

Bottle shared in London - picked up in town. Pours mostly clear gold with a frothy, white head. Nice juicy fruits in the nose, peach, melon, tangerine. Light sweet flavour with more citrus, pale bread, light wheat, more tangerine, some meringue, lemon rind. Lig bodied with massaging carbonation. Sweet finish, with more tangerine, light rindy bitterness, pale wheat bread. Good stuff.
