Craft 100. Clapham. Keg. Hazy deep red - amber beer, tidy pale tan head. Black pepper nose. Palate is airy, semi dry and has decent fine carbonation. Light malts, modest sweetness. Mellow aromatic black pepper. Light semi dry peppery finish. Not bad but really wants something else. Who just eats black pepper?

Cask at Craft 100, 06/10/16. Dark mahogany brown with a well presented beige cap. Nose is big on black peppercorns, light red berry infuse, spice, earthy, brown bread. Taste comprises black pepper, subtle spice, fruit esters, bread, grains, light cocoa sprinkle. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying close. Decent effort and did what it said on the tin without being to OTT!

Cask at Craft 100 - fall 2016. Pours clear brown with a frothy, off-white head. Energetic black pepper in the nose, which overrides all else, really. Light sweet flavour with notes toasty bread, nice and true cracked black pepper, a little bore bread. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes with more authentic black pepper character, more mild toasty bread, low bitterness. Quite fun, in that this is like drinking lightly carbonated black pepper juice.

Cask at Craft 100. It pours lightly hazy darkest red - brown with a medium, off - white head. The aroma is bitter - sweet, dried berry, cola, earth, touch of peppery spice and toast. The taste is bitter - sweet, dry, earthy roast, toasty, wood, leather, quite peppery and coffee grounds with a very dry finish. Peppery spice on the finish. Light - medium body and soft carbonation. Not bad I suppose. Probably prefer the regular version.
