Bottle@yesprs - Brown pour with puffy beige head. Toasted and sweet malty, notes of caramel and slight charred earthy malty notes, some cocoa, slight nutty, overall abit to high carbonated for me.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, darkest brown colour with average to huge, frothy to macropore, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Citrusy fruity, hoppy aroma, notes of grapefruit, mandarine, orange, slightly nuttily and bready malty background with a touch of Brazil nut. Taste is grassy and slightly citrusy fruity hoppy, notes of grass, weed, hints of grapefruit, earthy, nuttily malty basis.

(Draught at Heidenpeters, Berlin, 26 Aug 2016) Dark brown colour with brief, foamy beige head. Malty, hoppy nose with notes of dark bread, pine needles, grapefruit and roasted malt. Malty, roasted, hoppy taste with liquorice, pine needles, grapefruit, hints of mints, roasted malt and a generous piney bitterness. Medium body, quite dry. Tasty and well made with a generous hop presence. Somewhere right in between an American brown ale and a Black IPA. Nice one.
