Bottle at level 42, thanks to Colin. It pours murky amber with a gigantic white head. The aroma is pretty muted.... earthy, cereal, bread, wood and dirt. The taste is fairly harsh initially, bitter - sweet, sugary, orange rind, boosty, brown bread, chewy malt, spice and wheetabix with a sweet finish. Medium body and high, foamy carbonation. A bit messy overall.

Level 42 Bottleshare. Thanks toColin. Murky gold beer, small cream colour head. Airy dry palate, reasonable carbonation. Sweetish dry malts, some creamy sweetness. Bitterish yeasty floralness. Touch of brighter citrus. Smooth dry yeasty finish. Not doing anything for me.

Bottle shared in London - thanks to Cloiny. Pours murky golden-brown with a creamy, white head. Musty leaves in the nose, old citrus fruits. Light sweet flavour with lots of leafy bitterness, some astringency, orange peel. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Quite bitter in the finish, more leaves and rind, some carpet, old and dried orange. Very so so.

Bottle shared on Level 42 09/2017. Many thanks to Colin for this one. A murky brown amber coloured pour with a lasting frothy off white head. Aroma is jammy fruits, apple, caramel, brown sugars, cinnamon apple pie. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, woody brown malts, cinammon apple pie, woody. Palate is harsh abrasive, highish carbonation, golden syrup. Ok.

Bottle split at L42, from the brewery, 09/02/17. Hazed orange amber with a well appointed light beige cap. Nose is fruit cake, spice, fruit esters, straw, caramel, bread dough. Taste comprises fruit esters, straw, caramel, brown bread, toasted brown sugars. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok English strong, little hop characteristics, not an IPA in the RB sense.
