A good bitter , chewy and resinous IPA. Unfortunately it followed the Peat Rock and therefore didn’t stand a chance. It’s a good, bitter and slightly subtle IPA in the English style and I enjoyed it.

Bottle from Sourced Market St Pancras and drunk at home. Rating 18,000. Seems fitting that this milestone is from one of the new London breweries that have made it such a great place to visit now and from a store in the St Pancras rail station where I come into London which has given me so many rates. How far away it is from getting a can of Guinness from a Whistlestop from Charing Cross. London has changed a lot in the past 12 years of rating. Beer is dirty golden brown with a lasting white head. Yellow grapefruit aroma with some caramel fudge too. Hops are good and it’s not as sweet as the caramel aroma led me to believe. Some lime some tangerine flavours. Body is quite light but there is enough malt there to carry the hops. Some bitterness which is pleasant. A racy razor like hop bite is attractive. Yep pretty good. Now for the next 2000 to get to 20k. He rolls his shoulders, arches his back, burps, and heads for the fridge.

Taste is crisp hoppy, citrusy and floral with some fruits, grass and hay. Finish is crisp, citrusy and floral hoppy with some grass, hay and grainy maltiness, hints of mild dankness. Okay.

Bottle from Beers’n’more. Pours cloudy beige. Aroma is citric and tropical, some flowers too. Body is medium, with a healthy dose of bitterness and a good carbonation. Some spicyness towards the palate. Juicy, yet not in the NE way. Matching residual sweetness, also on the palate. Good.
