Level 42 Bottlshare. Thanks to Dan for the can. Very hazy gold beer, good cream colour head. Palate is light, smooth and a little dry, decent fine carbonation. Soft creamy modes. A little lemon acid into soft but decent Rakau skunk and earthiness. Good fresh orange, a little orange peel. Skunky lemon, and pine in the finish. Interesting.

Can at L42. It pours cloudy yellow - gold with a small white head. The aroma is soft, musty, gooseberry, lemon - lime, sherbet, funk and farmhouse bread. The taste is crisp, dry, tart, green, grassy, musty, bright acidity, lactic, lime, bread and damp wood. Medium body and moderate, foamy mouth-carbonation. Sits bit heavy on the palate. Interesting nonetheless.

Can shared in London - cheers! Pours murky orange with a small, creamy white head. Lots of citric character in the nose, some sweat, pine. Light sweet flavour with moderate acidity, tangerine, melon, a little wood. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finishes with more tart citrus, a little grass, melon. Pretty enjoyable beer, but not quite true to the rakau sour lager style.

Can split at L42, thanks to Danny, 23/08/17. Hazed golden orange with a decent off white head that retains well. Nose is bitter orange, pissy citric rinds, damp straw, acidic bimble, funk. Taste comprises sharp citrics, barnyard, bitter orange, lactic nip, bitter citric rinds, lemon tinged straw, stale bread. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close peppered with a balanced acidic rise and moderate puckering climax. Decent easy drinking sour.
