Cask at GBBF’17, day one, 08/08/17. Lightly hazed chestnut brown with a decent beige cap. Nose is fruit rinds, Seville orange marmalade, spice, mellow rum oak. Taste comprises light charr, oak, toffee, brown sugar, biscuit crumble, trace of rum, fruit loaf. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Ok stuff.

GBBF Day 1. Cask. Light haze on this amber beer small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and fairly dry and has a decent fine crispness. Nice condition. Tangy fruits and a little vanilla. Mildly rummy dried fruits. Light semi dry finish. Nice idea and it's not bad.

Cask at GBBF. It pours clear deep brown with a decent white head. The aroma is soft, sweet, oaky wood, earth, dried fruits, tangy, juicy and sweet rum. The taste is rich and bitter upfront, warming, wood, earth, leather, fruity rum, tannin, black tea, spice, earth and spice with a drying finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Rummy wood character makes for good fun.

Cask at the GBBF 2017. Day 1. 08/08/2017. A clear reddy amber coloured pour with a a loose off white head. Aroma is sweet brown malts, oak, apple, brandy apple. Vanilla. Palate is tangy, apple, wood tannin. Plate is tart and tangy, modest carbonation.

Cask at GBBF 2017, day 2. Pours clear amber-brown with a light, creamy tan head. The nose holds dried, lightly tangy leathery furits, berries. Light to medium sweet flavour with more leathery fruits, a little woody dryness, toasty bread. Medium bodied, lightly oily, with fine carbonation. Subtly sweet and tangy in the finish, with minimal booze, toasted wood, more berries, orange peel. Nice.
