Pours an almost clear orange amber colour with a small off white head. Aroma is biscuit malt and leafy hops, and a similar taste, biscuit malt with a nice astringent hop bitterness that lasts. I like it, uncomplicated but good.

Slightly opalescent dark golden to orange colour, minimal off-white head; aroma of fruity and floral notes, biscuit and slight citruses; taste is the same with orange zest bitterness; watery ale, but ideal if you are thirsty on a sunny afternoon

Cask ale at The Swan in Bloomsbury. Near clear dark golden body. Patchy layer, minimal lacing. Citrus and toffee on the nose. Blended taste of honey sweetness, orange, and mild citrus shells. Mid-dry hop driven ending. Fair enough (London 11.07.2015).

(Cask at Cock Tavern, Hackney, London, 28 Nov 2014) Amber colour with brief, foamy head. Fruity, malty nose with notes of apricots, orange and a touch of caramel. Malty, fruity taste with orange, apricots, toffee a balanced earthy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Well balanced and tasty bitter. Quite nice.

Bottle from Deeside Drinks Emporium. Hazy amber body with a thin white head. Aroma of sour grain, cardboard and earth. Flavour of wood, sour grain and metallic hint. Thin body with a watery mouthfeel. Soft fizz. Not great, I couldn’t finish the bottle.
