Our new collaboration beer with our friends at Weird Beard Brew Co. is a veritable fruit smoothie - a seriously hoppy and subtly fruity strawberry and blackberry pale ale. In fact, you might call it a 'berry pale ale'. It has been loaded with loads of English-grown strawberry and blackberry puree, and then aroma and dry-hopped with the berry/spice combination of Bramling Cross, UK Bullion, Endeavour and Minstrel hops. The fruit additions mean that it pours with significant haze.

Bodney Towers Bottleshare. Thanks to Dan. Hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth and semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Thin malts bring some cream. Light dry berry fruits. Spice. Bit of a floral dry finish. Okay.

Bottle shared at Leightons place, 10/07/2017. Many thanks to Daniel for this one. A hazed golden orange coloured pour with a lasting off white head. Aroma is apricot jam, orange rind, peach, semi base malts. Flavour is composed of tangerine. Little funk, I tangerine, dirty wheat. Palate is semi sweet, moderate carbonation, semi dry finish.

Bottle shared in Hackney - immense thanks to Danny! Pours unclear gold with a frothy, white head. The nose has some gummy white grape, vague citrus fruits. Light sweet flavour with some berry candies, light bitterness, some minerality. Light bodied with massaging carbonation. Finishes with more berries, seedy bitterness, a little citrus rind. Not bad.

Bottle thanks to Danny. It pours hazy golden - amber with a medium white head. The aroma is soft, mellow. fresh, strawberry & cream, berry and scones. The taste is crisp, dry, quite mellow, strawberry, raspberry, straw, bitter, minerals, pithy, light spice and zesty citrus with a drying finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Ok.
