Let’s face it – we love big, flavorful stouts. As luck would have it, our friend Jeppe at Evil Twin Brewing feels the same way. We decided to brew a beer together that took elements from our favorite stouts we each produce to come together as one beer. Bible Belt takes elements we love from Prairie Bomb! and combines them with Evil Twin Brewing’s world famous stout, Even More Jesus. The end result is a smoky, spicy stout that is sure to please the pallet.

Backlog September 2019. Well stored bottle. Pitch black body under a small tan head. Aroma of dark roasted malt, chocolate, coffee and hint of pepper. Taste is sweet dark malt, mild roasted, coffee, chocolate, hint of spices and warming alcohol. Full boded and long-lasting aftertaste. A solid one with tons of big flavors.

Can at home. Has a dark brown to black colour with a beige head. Aroma of chocolate truffles, coffee, licorice, vanilla and roasted malt. Hint of chilies. Flavour of coffee beans, dark chocolate, ash, roasted malt and hints of chilies in the end. Has a silky mouth feel, full-bodied and a light to medium bitterness. Roasted and well-balanced. The vanilla and chilies is less present than expected.

Tap @ Fermentoren, Aarhus. Been waiting for this for so long. Pours an oily black with a medium espresse brown head. Aromas of cocoa, vanilla, dark chocolate, sweet chili and dark sweet fruits. Taste is BOOMING! strong dark roasted coffee and chocolate. Slight booze, pepper, sweet chili, grass, earth. Later on comes the heat and dry bittersweet ending. So good!
