Quite a nice pulpy thick fruit juice filled body, but not sweet: just a well balanced beer. Beertemple ams

Can. An unclear pale yellow colored beer with a small white head. Grapefruity, piney aroma with hints of grass and pale malts. It's medium to full bodied, lightly warning, with a gentle carbonation. Grapefruit and pine cones in the aroma, with a gentle hint of pale malts. Medium length finish. Refreshing and pleasantly dry. 240517

Can. Straight from can. Color presumably hazy golden, white head. Aroma: Sweet, sweet tropical fruit. Taste: (Over)ripe mango and pineapple. Sweet. Low bitterness. Very fruity. Boozy hints. Just over medium body, average carbonation. Bit sirupy. Too much sweetness and too little bitterness for me.

Teku showing turbid pale gold with sparse white foam.

The nose shows moderately intense notes of pineapple, lychee, and hints of grapefruit.

The palate is well carbonated and medium bodied. Lychee and light guava with a mild bitterness.

Very clear golden and crisp copper coloured body with a lot of bubbles rising from the bottom and up to the sides, with a four to five centimetre tall, microfoamed tan head that covers the beer nicely and takes a long time to fade, even a tiny bit. Aroma of grass, hay, citrus fruit, light alpha acids, some biscuity malts and also a nice honey and caster sugar sweetness in the nose. Medium-bodied; Nice crisp citrus, stone fruit and floral flavours at first that all seem to come from the hops, but the nice malt backbone and very crisp, grassy and floral flavours that let the bitterness hold up longer, while still being very crisp. Aftertaste shows the dry, herbal and especially crisp, bitter beer with the hops front and centre, without too much fruits or sugars, despite both showing up earlier, but the alcohol and rich malts are hidden well and both of those aren't really seen at all. Overall, a nice IPA (older school East Coaster) that barely borders on Imperial status, but is nice throughout. Great to sample this one super fresh and very local! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Whole Foods in Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia on 08-October-2021 for US$3,49 sampled at my house here in Washington on 13-October-2021.
