330ml bottle. Minimally cloudy, pale, brass colour with huge, macropore, collapsing, white head. Fruity, grassy and slightly floral, hoppy aroma, minimally sugary malty background with a touch of grape sugar. Taste is initially dry, fruity and minimally floral hoppy. later minimally fusty grassy with hints of silage and weed.

Bottle from Ales by Mail. Pours yellow gold with a light haze and a thin white head. Some sweet, floral notes on the aroma. Taste has quite prickly carbonation, lemon bitterness, then a sweet linger. Bitter finish, still a bit thin, despite the oats and lactose.

Craft Islington. Bottleshare. Thanks to Dan. Hazy gold beer, good bubbly pale cream colour head. Light palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Airy malts, trace of creamy sweetness. Pith and citrus peel. Dry finish. The dryness and pith make this hard work.

Bottle split at CBC Islington, thanks to Danny, 30/10/17. Lightly hazed golden with a decent off white cap. Nose is mellow citric peel, orange, straw, melon, light hop jacket. Taste comprises toasted grains, orange pith, melon, light breads, lemon rind. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a sprinkle of juicy hop bitterness. Decent session plunder given the ABV.

Bottle at CBC Islington - care of Dirty Dan. It pours hazy gold with a massive white head. The aroma is earthy, chewy malt, wood, brown bread and a touch of candied citrus. The taste is soft, bitter - sweet, oily, earthy, brown bread, toasted oat, leather, pithy citrus and some generic fruity notes. Finish is pretty harsh and sharp. Light body and average carbonation. Pretty basic stuff overall.

Bottle shared in London / many thanks to Dan boy. Pours unclear yellow-gold with a creamy, white head. The nose holds grass, pale grains, plastic, lemon peel. Light sweet flavour with chlorophenols, more plastic, grass. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Astringent and aggressively bitter to finish. Not great.
