Growler at LKS - big thanks to Adrian. It pours black with a small tan head. The aroma is sweet, chocolate cake, oily, toasted nut, pain au chocolat, marshmallow, Nutella and pastry. The taste is dry, bitter, toasty grain, cocoa, charred wood, toasted nut, leather, bit of spice and bitter caramel with a dry, toasty finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Great aroma and higher drinkability than it should be.

Growler shared in Hackney - big thanks to Tipple. Pours deep brown with a creamy, tan head. Plenty of chocolate in the snout, brownies, coconut. Medium sweet flavour with creamy chocolate character, a little bitterness, burnt nuts, mild earth, nips of ash. Medium bodied, oily, with fine carbonation. Well balanced finish, lots of creamy chocolate, chocolate sauce, a bit of Nutella, restrained bitterness, well toasted brown bread. Great stuff overall.

Bodney Towers sharebottle. Thanks to Mr Tips for the growler keg thing. Opaque dark brown beer, small tan head. Smooth palate, semi dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Smooth dark malts. Lightly tangy chocolate. Modest bounty bar. Nuts are borderline detectable. Light finish. Pleasant. Little dark fruits.
