Our latest ’Trans-Atlantic Pale Ale, and our first brew at our new home. Low Colour Maris Otter and wheat malts, Summit at first work, Magnum at boil, then a big dose of Amarillo and Galaxy after flame-out. More galaxy in the fermenter. Huge melon, peach and citrus flavour

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Poured a clear straw colour with a thin white head. The aroma is yeast, light dry hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a woody hop, citrus palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation and a bubbly mouthfeel.

Lightly hazy gold beer, residual white head. Palate is semi dry and crisp. Very light malts, dry. Hops are a dry pithy orange with a little yellow grapefruit and peel in the background. A subtle but definite peppermint rides throughout giving the beer an unusual slant. Light dry finish. Peel bitter linger. Not bad!
