Draft at the brewery taproom during the bros’ pre-RBWG Cali tour. Pours deep brown with a creamy, off-white head. The nose holds dark berries, prunes, faint cocoa. Light sweet flavour with notes of toasted coconut, more prunes, touches of molasses, faint lemon. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Tart in the finish, moderately acidic, with more toasted coconut, faint cinnamon, slight toffee. Quite novel. Real good.

Keg at the brewery, 29/01/16. Extremely dark mahogany brown with a moderate off White head. Nose is tangy red berries, wood must, light dry rot, spice, funk. Taste comprises red berry balsams, earthy fruit, acidic tones, nutty, oak, orange rinds. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a puckering bite. Decent enough dark sour.

On tap at The Rare Barrel. Pours out a hazy mahogany with a ring of a head. Nose has lots going on a big mix of fruits berries citrus cherries and plenty on the barrel presents. Taste is more of the big fruit cocktail cherries citrus the cinnamon helps round it. This was a fun one.

Draft at the rare barrel. Nut brown coloured pour with a small of white head. Aroma a is woody. Red berry, funk, citrus. Flavour is composed of spicy woody. Sour, lemon bark, palate is sweet and sour, highish carbonation , spritzy.

Draught at Rare Barrel. Almost opaque deep brown liquid with minimal white head. Aroma of lemon, chocolate, apple skin, light oak, light raw sugar and dark fruit. Taste is dry and medium sour with notes of lemon, light chocolate, light cinnamon and oak. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Great.

Tap. Pours murky mahogany, small beige head, good lacing. Aroma is oak, lemon, cherry, cinnamon. Flavor is medium tart, hint of cinnamon, cherries, a bit of roast, cocoa. Medium body. Solid sour.
