Bottle shared during RBWG 2016 - big thanks to P Hale. Pours thick black with a creamy beige head. Strong dark malts in the nose, some burnt coconut, vanilla, dark chocolate. Heavy sweet flavor with syrupy chocolate, alcohol, burnt wood, vanilla, raisins, figs. Full bodied, chewy, with fine carbonation. Warming finish with more dark chocolate, scorched earth, espresso, roast, booze, vanilla. Good stuff. Quite hearty, nicely layered.
