On tap at the brewery. Aroma has a bit of a rice note with some light nuttiness to it. Medium light phenolic notes add some spice notes. Moderate pear, with some overripe stone and tropical fruit. Faint hints of citrus. Pours a hazy, pale golden orange with a medium small, thick, white head that exhibits good retention as it recedes to a thin film that lingers for quite some time. Moderate lacing and small legs. Flavor has a light sweetness with some light grain notes and medium light rice character. Rice adds an interesting character with a bit of a nuttiness. Medium bitterness. Some pear, light citrus and other overripe fruit notes. Medium light phenolics with a good spiciness. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium high carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, an alright saison but I was expecting more of the house yeast character. This has a very clean flavor with no acidity. Rice works better in the aroma than the flavor where it conflicts a bit with the esters.

Tap at SARA. Pours hazy golden, small white head, decent lacing. Aroma is grassy, grain, rice and hints of white grape, black pepper. Flavor is lightly sweet, field grass, floral hops, black pepper and a graininess that I assume is the wild rice. Medium body, another hint of white grape on the finish, along with light lingering bitterness.

On draft at Trappist Provisions. It pours a hazy pale orange color with a large, fluffy white head. The aroma is lightly spicy with strong notes of cooked rice and oats. A little orange and tangerine with hints of flowery hops. The flavor is similar. Orange, flowers, a little pepper and creamy grains. Subtly spicy in the finish and light on the palate, but with a creamy mouthfeel. Very pleasant.
