On tap @ brewpub during RateBeer weekend, January 2016. Hazy, light yellow appearance with a white head; it looks fantastic. Soap, spice, potpourri in the aroma. The flavor is pretty floral and herbal. A little too soapy. The flavor was a little less than impressive to me but it’s a beer I’d like to give another shot in the future.

Light to medium sweet, with more biscuits, light bitter hay, yeast, dough. Light in body with average carbonation. Moderately sweet on the finish, with continuing doughy wheat, hay, lemon peel. Tap at the brewpub. Pours very hazy gold with a foamy white head. Aroma is yeasty fruity. Med body. Flavor is wheat, but there’s some banana ester and other fruit; some yeast. A little earthy. Maybe more than a little. Sort of a very different hefe in a way.
