Amarilloweisse is a beer close to our hearts here at Fieldwork; marrying our passions of IPA's, Sours, and Saisons. Starting life as a traditional Berliner weisse, things begin to change en route to the fermenter as it takes a detour to soak on some Amarillo hops during its whirlpool rest, then on to the tank where we ferment it with our house Saison yeast and dry hop with copious more amounts of Amarillo. The end result is an aggressively tart Berliner weisse style beer with massive aromas of grapefruit, dragon fruit, and pink Starburst with peppery-lemon yeast esters, and an impeccably dry finish.

Draught at Harry’s Hofbrau in Redwood City. Pours a hazy yellow with full white head. Aromas of perfume, citrus and slight spice. Taste is overt tartness that blends with the spice and citrus hop for a really nice beer.
