Draught at Man in the Moon. Hazy deep amber liquid with a medium off-white head. Aroma of toffee, mango, caramel, bread, raw sugar, pine and citrus. Taste is light to medium sweet and medium to high bitter with notes of toffee, caramel and mango. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. OK but very malt forward for the style.

Where: Man in the Moon, Stockholm.
Appearance: Amber colour with a small off-white head.
Aroma: Citrus, hops, fruit, floral, grass.
Body: Medium body and carbonation.
Flavour: Hops, citrus, caramel, fruit, a little alcohol.

Tap@Man in the Moon. Mörkt bärnstensfärgad vätska med gräddigt skum. Doft av citrus och getpiss. Denna var humlebesk, helt klart. Lite emaljkrullvarning. Bra avec bira.

Draught @ Fermentoren
Aroma has soapy peach, some fruity hops and fruit candy. Flavour has peaches, fruity hops, grain and some minerals. Nice hops, but backbone seems to fail to bear them all.

Pours hazy orange amber with low white head. Aroma of mango, peach, and citrus. Taste is sweet fruit followed by balanced resin bitter finish. Medium body. Very smooth and drinkable. This is how I like my DIPA.

(Draught at Man in the Moon, Stockholm, 29 March 2014) Hazy amber colour with dense, beige head. Fruity, malty nose with notes of grapefruit, orange peel, caramel and resin. Malty, fruity taste with caramel, toast, citrus, grapefruit, resin and a generous citric, resinous bitterness in the finish. Almost full body, with balanced sweetness. Solid and well made double IPA with a generous hop presence. Very nice.

Keg at Man in The Moon, Stockholm. Hazy pale amber, small head. Sweaty grass and gooseberry in the nose. Mid sweet with medium-full body and rounded mouthfeel. Rich on gooseberry hops. Elegant and somewhat peppery with mid bitter finish. Top notch DIPA as far as I’m concerned.

Bottle @ Ölstugan Tullen 2a Långgatan. Pours very murky yellowish brown with a rather big frothy and fluffy offwhite head that is very slow to dissipate while leaving lots of sticky lacing and trace on the glass. Smell is malty and fruity with dark bread, pineapple juice, grapefruit juice, passionfruit, starfruit, freshly cut grass, pine needles, glue, alcohol and lemon zest. Taste is bitter, malty and fruity with dark bread, caramel, pink grapefruit juice, freshly cut grass, pineapple juice, alcohol, passionfruit, straw, glue and overripe mango. Mouthfeel is soft, slightly astringent, tiny boozy and medium to full bodied. Finish is bitter and fruity with dark bread, caramel, grapefruit rinds, freshly cut grass, pine needles, straw, moist soil, alcohol and unripe tropical fruits. Strangely alcoholic...

Cloudy brown color, medium off-white to yellow head. Hoppy, citrus, fresh scent. Fresh, hoppy, bitter taste. Medium to full mouthfeel, medium bitterness. Some alcohol in there. Peppery aftertaste.
