Bottle from Wine & Cheese in Clayton, MO. Pours very dark brown/black with ruddy glints and a creamy/foamy dark tan head. Aroma is sweat sox, darkish fruit, darkish malt. Suggestions of prune. Med body. Flavor is chocolate, darkish burnt malt, and a very minimal brett flavor. Might not realize brett, it’s so restrained. However the drink is a good one. Finishes balanced - nearly dry. The malt is maybe a little towards treacle.

Fra flaske hos Mike på Lervig: Aroma og smak av billig, tynn rødvin. Kan det ha vært noe feil? Definitely not my cup of tea, men så er jeg da heller ikke en svoren brett-fan.

Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter with notes of red berries, light lemons and fruity brett. Medium bodied with low to medium carbonation. Nice, balanced stuff.

On tap at Copenhagen Beer Celebration.
Opaque black beer, little tan head. Light palate, pretty dry. A little unsweet dark chocolate. Mild coffee. Quite a dose of minerals. Dry finish with more chocolate and coffee.
