A powerful and strong special blond beer with an alcohol content of 10.5%. Aromas of stone fruit and freshly mown grass are the introduction to a creamy head and a weighty palette. This is a full-body beer with strong flavours of ripe fruit and a dominant beer flavour. Hints of pepper and a pleasantly bitter tone are united with sweet fruity tones of honey and grapefruit in the smooth aftertaste

Can from local AH XL supermarket. Color: Clear golden, white head. Aroma: Malty, sweetish, slightly alcoholic. Taste: Over moderate sweet, malty, light hopbitterness, bit boozy. Just over medium body. Average carbonation. Ok, I bought this one just for fun, thought it would be terrible but actually it's quite drinkable. But it still is a poor mans 'get drunk cheap and quickly beer' though. :) Don't drink this if you want a nice tasty beer...

Sampled from 0.5 l can from 'AH' (Sleeuwijk), best before February 2018. Clear, orangeish amber with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, malty, sugary and slightly boozy aroma of caramel, honey, some vanilla and hints of alcohol. Very sweet, malty, almost sugary taste of honey, candy sugar, some sultanas and hints of candied peach, followed by a short, moderately bitter, a bit boozy finish. Medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Not bad at all, way less boozy than expected, not as harsh or sugary than other examples of this style.

Can from a Phuket convenience store. Poured a clear golden colour with a short-lived fizzy white head. The aroma is corn, sweet malt, toffee, caramel, alcohol. The flavour is moderate to strong sweet with a smooth rich, sweet toffee malt, warm alcoholic palate. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation.

Blikje thuis geprobeerd met Roelzie. Het is een geel/oranjeachtig helder bier, het schuim zakt vrij vlot weg. Het aroma is iets moutig. Smaak is zoet, hoppig, kruidig en fruitig. Weinig nasmaak.

Blik gekocht in de plaatselijke supermarkt en thuis gedronken. Geel oranje-achtig helder bier, flink schuimend tijdens inschenken maar het schuim zakt vrij vlot weer weg. Aroma is iets moutig. Smaak is zoet, hoppig, kruidig en fruitig. Weinig nasmaak. Het bier is te zoet om lekker te zijn.

50 cl can served in red wine glass. Pours bright and clean dark golden to copper-hued. Good-lacing, long-lasting, off-white, head. Aroma is strong: biscuits, brown sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, Seville oranges, nutmeg. Strong flavour (but balanced by the freshness, so it is not aggressive), quite sweetish (but the sheer bitterness, once more balances the equation). I am actually quite surprised that what looked as some cheap, half-poisonous, malt liquor has turned out to be a decent imperial pilsner. Never judge a book by its cover.
