(Bottle) Reddish brown colour with lasting, beige head, leaving traces of lacing. Roasted, hoppy nose with notes of dried fruit, chocolate, rye bread, pine needles, citrus and a hint of liquorice. Roasted, hoppy taste with chocolate, coffee, dried fruit, spicy hints of rye, soy sauce and a generous piney, citric bitterness in a long, salty finish. More than medium body, with some sweetness. Not really balanced, but in my opinion very nice.

Bottled (thanks migu!). Deep brownish black colour with a mediumsized beige head. Aroma is mild maltyness, some roast and hops. Very mild aroma, which is quite hard to get something out of. Flavour is toffee, sweet malts rather bitter hoppy as well.

Bottled 500ml (BB 12/2011)
Dark brown color, steady beige head. Light nose with American hops and some caramel. Medium-bodied. Toffee-licorice combination in the flavor, burned toasted malts, sticky hoppyness. Unbalanced Black IPA - too sweet!

50 cl bottle from Systembolaget. Dark brown color weith small, brownish head. Smells of fresh hops, roasted malt and some diacetyl/DMS. A bit off. Taste is roasty and dry with medium to big bitterness. Medium bodied with good carbonation. OK but not very impressing.
