The colour is achieved by using 5 differently roasted barley malts, whilst the aroma comes from typical fruity American hops. The specialised yeast is imported from America, it helps to balance each wonderful flavour perfectly.

Bottle. Dark amber color. Soft caramelly grassy citric aroma. Grassy herbal hopbitter flavor with citric notes. caramel and a hint of licorice. Decent.

Tap at Winterbierfestival Leiden. Slight hazy amber with beige head. Sour berries, socks, light roasted malts, watery. Light sweet and sour, medium bitter. Medium bodied with dry feel. Meh.

Sampled from tap at Leiden Winterbier Festival. Hazy amber with offwhite head. Sweet toasted malts, caramel, pepernoot met kauwgombal, vegetable bitter. Over medium sweet and light bitter. Medium body and low carbonation.

Thanks to kermis! 330 ml. bottle sampled @ “Dean’s sticky Bomb Shelter” Tasting. Very hazy amber, little head. Nose is metallic, syrup, brown sugar, mocha, herbal,… Taste is syrup, mocha, brown sugar, herbal, insecticide, vegetable,… Very oily herbal body. Weird,… Doesn’t really work or makes much sense. Basic sweetness helps this one,… Still not much of a fan.

Bottle shared. Pours clear dark amber with a small off white head. Aroma of soapy hops, light fruits, citrus and weeds. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Light medium bodied with light carboabtiokn.

33cl Bottle from De Bierboetiek, thanks Chris&Suus! Slightly hazy deep amber colour, fizzy off-white head. Aroma of yeast, sweet ripe fruits, caramel, homebrew. Flavour is yeasty, light spicy, caramel, candied fruits, light leafy, some citrus, bitter finish. Over-carbonated. OK-ish.

Bottle @ The Hague Tasting. Clear amber color, average sized off-white head. Smell and taste malts, lightly fruity, overripe fruits, a slight hint of something weird. Average body and carbonation. Meh.
