17/I/16 - 50cl can in a trade from Malt Attacks (Brussel) @ Algemene Vergadering Gentse Biervereniging - BB: IX/2016 (2016-47) Thanks to Bierridder_S for the trade!

Clear blond beer, creamy off-white head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving some lacing in the glass. Aroma: very yeasty, bit chemical, grains, some banana. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: bitter start, bit yeasty, sweet, grassy, quite some banana. Aftertaste: bitter, dry, some citrus, banana, almonds. These are not flavours and aromas that one would link to a lager/pilsener.

Thnx Eugene ! Pours clear blonde, small white head. Smell is dry, malty. Sorry to say so, but chemical. how is this a craft lager, if based from the smell, it is more chemical than some rather available pilsners ? perhaps craft in size, but def. not in quality - if it comes down to the scent of this specific beer , that is. Taste is weak. weird sweet / bitter aroma, again, not natural at all. low side of MF and carbo. Deluted high gravity pilsner ???? decent bitterness in the finish, but the taste doesn’t really carry hops. Lets just say this ain’t their best.

500 ml. can sampled @ “Dean’s sticky Bomb Shelter” Tasting. Clear golden, small white. Nose is oily, light floral hops, touch corn. Taste is oily corn, overall the profile is comparable to a commercial lager but it has no flaws & it is actually enjoyable, tad sweeter corn, white bread, light zest, some hop presence, floral, lightly minty. Oily body, faintly dry floral hop in the back. Pretty decent, a tad too commercial tasting still in its profile, they could have pushed it a bit more but this is an agreeable one.

Can shared at Kermis’s birthday tasting. No head. Slightly hazy golden pour. Very bitter. I’d rather drink this than a normal pils.
