Aroma of wheat, peppery notes, spicy yeast, mild banana, a little citrus, clove. Flavour is moderate sweet. A bit light body. An okay drinkable Weizen,

(Bottle, De Spuyt, Amsterdam, 25 Aug 2022) Pale golden colour with big, white head. Malty, wheaty nose with notes of bread, clove and hay. Malty, wheaty taste with bread, hay, clove, banana, citrus and a low citric bitterness in the finish. Not the most complex weizen, but tasty and refreshing. Quite nice.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, dark golden colour with small, frothy, rapidly diminishing, white head. Spicy yeasty, wheaty and oaty aroma, hints of oat flakes and apple purée, Taste is dubiously alcoholic, slightly yeasty spicy and unspecific fruity. Obviously I grew up in another hefeweißbier traditie.

33cl bottle from Melgers. Almost no head. Vedry low carbonation. Hazy golden pour. Not cloudy enough for the style. An average weizen

Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, aftertaste light sweet and a hint of sourishness. Nice light Weizen.
