An IPA with a citrus kick, Virmalised GF uses a blend of hops and fresh grapefruit.

Taste: Sweet fresh citrus mixes with a refreshing acidity before more citrus joins the party, intertwining with a sweet biscuity malt character. A hoppy freshness comes in after the initial citrus kick, reminding of classic Virmalised flavours, before finishing off with more zesty grapefruit .

330ml bottle. Cloudy, orangey golden colour with huge, foamy, slowly osteoporosing, moderately lacing, white head. Slightly piney, hoppy aroma, hints of grapefruit, unspecific fruitiness. Taste is dry, slightly bitter hoppy, hints of grapefruit, unspecific fruitiness, biscuity malty basis with a strawy touch.

Bottle. Copper color. Fruity aroma of grapefruit, citrus, mild caramel and grass. Bitter taste of harsh grapefruit, grassy hop, mild caramel and some citrus. Allright, bit too harsh in the grapefruit.

Towering head, dense, lightly yellowish, slowly collapsing with lace over fiercely carbonated hazy orange beer. Flowery, even blossomy nose, citrus (grapefruit and others). Some resin in the finish, wet dog. Fruity-sweet with very mild bitterness. Again citrus, without being obviously grapefruit - remarkable. Quite spritzy, nearly too -, medium bodied at best, some hopoil slickness. Good IPA, even if I’m a bit surprised the grapefruit isn’t more imposing.

Bottle @ home. Hazy orange with a huge head. Smells and tastes pretty fruity sour and zesty. Also bitter. Im not sure whether it’s intended or a bad bottle. Medium body, medium carbo.
