Brewed with finest quality malts and hops, Calypso is a distinctive light amber beer, bordering on dark golden, with a hoppy, malty flavour and dry citrus hop finish. The perfect beer to relax with as the sun sets after a hard day on the beach!

Bottle from Home Bargains, Salford. Deeper golden with a head. It tastes a little deeper than its strength might suggest as well. Tasting hoppy, there's a little bit of breadiness in here, more so than the said citrus on the bottles beer notes. Nevertheless it's fairly tasty.

33cl bottle from Le Comptoir Irlandais in Nice, France. Medium, tan, good retention head. Colour is amber, almost clear. Aroma is malty, citrus, bit bready, floral touch. Taste is medium malty base, citrus, bit caramel, decent bitterness, bit grapefruit, medium carbonation, for organic and GF ok, partially enjoyed.

330ml bottle from Bien Manger. Gluten Free. Bright orangey-gold amber colour, large off-white foam head leaving lacing and aroma of malt, toffee, marmalade. Taste is malty, bready, with toffee, caramel, orangey citrus, marmalade and earthy hop bitterness. Smoothish mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry tangy finish. Quite drinkable, good for Gluten Free.

Bouteille 33cl @ Niamey craft beer testing, merci Michel. No BB.
