Unclear golden with white head. Sweet malts, fruity, resiny, floral, light spicy yeast. Moderate sweet and bitter. Medium body and soft carb. I like this, a bit old school.

Bottle at home. Bit hazy light golden with big fluffy white head. Bready malts, wheat, grapefruit, hrrbal weg hops, orange peel, light grassy. Medium sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with a lot of carbonation. Decent, bit too overcarbonated maybe.

Bottle. Orange amber pour. Aroma of yeast, grassy bitter hop, grapefruit and malt. Taste has sweet grapefruit, grassy citrus, malt, yeast, bitter orange and a little caramel. Solid, it's very Belgian and yeasty, bit like a hoppy blonde.

One of two new American style beers commissioned by a three-headed hobby brewery in Brussels. These three guys are passionate about biking, hence the bicycle theme. Longneck bottle from some organic food shop in Ghent, big thanks to my lovely girlfriend Goedele for this unexpected tick. Frothy, pillowy, cobweb-lacing, egg-white, big head on a misty apricot blonde beer. Colourful and alluring nose of lime zest, orange flesh, lemon blossom, dried mango, bitter dandelion juice, bread crumbs, green pear, papaja, hints of pine resin, dry earth, sweet shallots and grapefruit juice. Restrainedly sweetish onset, clean 'Anglo-Saxon' profile with fruity notes of peach, mandarin and unripe melon, lightly fizzy carbonation, smooth and slick body; cereally, very lightly biscuity malt sweetish middle soaked in spicy and fruity hoppiness, peppery and grapefruity with a quinine-like, long bitter ending, all the while releasing retronasal aromas of pink grapefruit, fried onion, paprika powder and dried mango. West Coast style IPA with a light tropical mango accent, so old school with a modern tweak, but decidedly un-Belgian, clean, streamlined, confidently bittering and, above all, much and much better than I was expecting. Great find, now for that other one!
