Bottle. Cafe Bebo, Brussels. Huge lump of Gouda with green mustard as an accompaniment. Hazed deep orange gold. Very decent just off white foam is lasting and semi lacing. Nose has sweet citrus. Gingerbread malts. Bit of dank. Bit peppery. Bit odd, to be honest. Not bad, just odd. Taste is pretty sweet with a candied peel thing. Some skunky skanky bitterness. Definitely feels the full 7%. Bittersweet finish. Glad I ticked this brewery off but on the strength of this I’d not rush back. Looks boss though, especially with the matching glassware.

Bottle at Café Bebo Brussels, Thursday 5th March 2026. We're en route back home after a week in the UK visiting Isobel, Jude, Baz etc and also my mum and Keith and briefly Scott, Mand' and Oscar. Pours light amber, hazy, mid sized sticky white head. A touch too sweet, yeastiness, light orange 'sweet'. Fine but not really rocking my boat. Score: 6.6

33cl bottle from a health shop in Ostend: BB 8th August 2026. Poured into a La Chouffe stemmed tulip glass at home on 5th December 2025. Mini tasting session with myself while Margie is in Chester Christmas shopping, Bertie is watching me. Third beer of the tasting. Hazy dull orange body, beige crust on top. Yeasty nose with a fruity leaning, grapefruit and lemons mostly in the aroma and initial taste. This is hop bitter, the Pacific Gem doing the most damage in this instance. Interesting beer, dry finish, the bitterness starts very early and carries on throughout the beer.

Sampled @ Zythos Beer Festival 2022. A clear dark golden beer with a beige lacing. Aroma of juicy hops, peach, citrus. Taste of peach, grapefruit, pine, good.

@home poured into a shaker. Hazy pale golden colour, tall rocky off-white head, slowly dissipating, heavy lacing. Aroma pale malts, tangerine, grapefruit, grassy and resinous hops. Very smooth taste, medium sweet and bitter, malty, tangerine, grapefruit, mango, pine resin. Medium body, oily texture, lively carbonation, lingering bittersweet aftertaste, malty and peppery notes, well-balanced, very nice brew.

Bottle at home. Clear orange color, medium sized white to off-white head. Smell and taste malts, hops, nicely moderately fruity with a touch of old school hoppiness. Okay bitterness. Decent body and carbonation. Quite nice.
