Dès son entrée dans le verre, cette quadrupel exhibe une mousse blanche, crémeuse et abondante. L’entrée en bouche est complexe grâce au subtil équilibre de ses malts supérieurs et de son houblon soigneusement sélectionné.

Towering, dense snowwhite head over lively carbonated, clear golden beer. Spicy malts, lagermalts, faint diary, faint herbs. Huge head seriously hampers nasal perception. Sweet grains, very dull, ending in sweet almonds. Quite slick, hints at alcohol, very carbonated. Oh dear. In the life and times of craft beer, here's again some Walloon living fossil. And yes, I immediately changed this to strong blond, the "Quadrupel" is a sales' gimmick. Txs to Stef!

Pour ceux qui ne le sauraient pas encore, les world beer awards et compagnie sont une vaste supercherie et cette Dominicain Quadruple en est un nouvel exemple. Déjà cette bière est une supercherie car elle n'est en rien une bière d'abbaye comme son marketing voudrait le faire croire. Et ce serait la meilleure bière du monde dans sa catégorie...cela est forcément acheté car c'est une piètre bière qui nous est proposé. Et ce serait un quadruple ? Pas le moins du monde, nous sommes ici devant une mauvaise triple, point barre. En verre, nous sommes sur un blond parfaitement limpide avec une fine effervescence soutenue et une mousse blanc cassé crémeuse de 2 cm. Le nez n'est pas engageant sur une alliance de céréales, alcool, coriandre et pomme de terre. D'emblée, cela me fait penser à une mauvaise triple à la française ! En bouche, ce n'est pas mieux avec un alcool ma intégré et des arômes peu attrayants. La bière n'a rien à voir avec une quadruple, elle n'en a pas les codes assurément. J'ai eu hâte que tout cela finisse....

Zu starke Karbonisierung. Heller herber Antrunk mit deutlicher Süße. Schwacher Körper, hellmalzig, minimal bitter. Langweilig. 10/8/7/7/7/8

Bottle from Toogoloog Middlekirke. Maybe one more beer here. Hazy gold colour thick white head. Floral aroma again like their previous beers. A golden quad?? Weird. Its a decent golden strong Belgian blond Some nice hops and bitterness on the finish. Ok

You should drink the beer you want to and that is what I am doing this evening. A 33 cl bottle in the style I like the best, bought from a fine Belgian beer seller. It's called a blonde quadrupel on the label, a term new to me. A snifter awaits, I pour and take a look and a sniff. The clearest and the lightest gold in a quadrupel I can remember with a thin but persistent skim of absolutely white, very fine bubbles. The nose, it is unusual, bananas, yeast and perhaps some grain. I taste raisins, nectarines, yeast, malt, white bread, honey and plums. If the brewer calls it a quad, it is a quad. I call it a tasty beer.

bottiglia 33 cl, bel cappello di schiuma bianca media grana persistente, color giallo oro velato, al naso lieviti belgi ananas spezie coriandolo succo di pera note floreali, in bocca marmellata di pesche ananas frutta candita coriandolo miele, corpo rotondo, carbonazione moderata, dolce con amaro moderato. Una Quadrupel anomala, una Tripel spinta. Fuori stile. Comunque buona. c. Luppoli e Uva Varese 20.04.24

330 ml bottle. Pours amber with moderate head. Aromas of jammy stoned fruit, fruity esters, dry banana and toasted malts. Flavors of mashed fruit, applesauce, green banana and bready malts. Quite sweet for a quad. More a Golden.

Bright yellow colour with fluffy head. Aroma and flavour have lots of fruity esters especially honeydew melon. Sweet but not sugary or cloying. The alcohol seems to keep it clean and dry enough.

Geel bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is krachtig en bitterzoet met iets van honing, wat koriander, banaan, pruimen en abrikoos. Volle en rijke smaak. Lijkt meer op een heel goede tripel dan een Quadrupel. Desondanks een heel goed bier.
