Keg at Brewdog Soho, London. A black coloured pour with a medium beige head on top. Rich, roasty, malty, chocolate on the nose. Tastes similar to the aroma, rich, roasty, malty, chocolate, caramel, hazlenut and a hint of coffee, really sweet.

ACBF 2017. Thank you for sharing kraddel, tderoeck, Travlr & friends. Sampled draft. Black, little head. Nose is hazelnut oil mixed with umami, licorice notes, sugar. Taste is charcoal, weird umami, herbal, roast, bark, roots mixed with some hazelnut oil, sugar, cacao. Body is warming syrupy, quite umami, herbal, hazelnut oil. Quite messy mix of licorice, umami, hazelnut oil,... Nice but not a big success.

Sampled from tap at ACBF 2017. Pitch black with a beige head. Sweetish, slightly roasty-malty aroma of milk chocolate, coffee, nougat and hazelnut. Rather sweet, moderately roasty-malty taste of milk chocolate, lots of coffee, hazelnut and some praline, followed by a medium long, moderately roasty-bitter, slightly dry finish. Medium to full body, creamy to oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very nice!

Brewdog Clerkenwell. Keg. Almost opaque dark brown beer, small pale tan head. Palate is exceptionally smooth and soft. Sweetish and creamy dark malts. Smooth hazlenuts and mellow chocolate that sits somewhere between dark and milk chocolate. Smooth finish. A delight over a short measure but I could not drink loads of this.
