Clear dark brown to black beer, big irregular creamy beige to brown head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: quite some tropical fruits, citrus, passion fruits, soft roast, bit cheesy, onions, little malty, some ashes. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: pretty roasted start, bitter kind of roast, malty, some caramel, bitter hops as well, citrus notes. Aftertaste: dark chocolate, bitter hops, bit cheesy, very roasted, dry and resinous finish, super bitter.

F: huge, tanned, very long lasting. C: black, opaque. A: dark malts, orange, tropical fruits, bit pine resin, pineapples, caramel, toffee, grapefruits. T: dark malts, grapefruits, orange, tangerine, mango, pineapple, cocoa, chocolate, bit coffee, pine resin, caramel, bit toffee, full body, medium carbonation, this is very nice almost like IS with American twist for me, fully enjoyable beer, 33cl from the brewery.

16/12/2018 @home - 33cl bottle from BBP Brewery. Dark brown to black colour, with big creamy tanned head. Nose is lots of bitterhops, resinous, chocolate malts. Taste is harsh resinous hops on a bed of chocolate and a bit coffee. Sichuan in the end. Really nice black IPA. Lots of taste. Creamy mouthfeel. Dam nice.

Bouteille 33cl, BB 11/2020. Brune foncée presque noire, col épais crémeux café au lait. Le tout doré au verre et finement huileux. Arôme est houblonné agrumes et note parfumée résineuse, le tout sur de fines effluves de chocolat. Pointe biscuitée sur un rétro plaisant de café. Le Sichuan arrive en rétro et apporte une petite pointe de citronnelle qui est discrète mais conférant un bel ajout au nez. Palais est bien malté, grillé note de chocolaté relevé par de fines notes de poivré. Petite amertume houblonnée avec de belles notes d'agrumes - citronnelle. En retrait je note une belle approche de grillé voire torréfié presque moka. Pointe de chaleur du poivre restant modérée.
