Draft @ Doric Arch.

Keg at the Head of Steam, 31/08/17. Light reddish hues with a big old crimson cap. Nose is a little restrained but generally pleasing with melow blackberries, straw, grains, light spice, tarte red fruits. Taste follows comprsing sharp blackberries, raspberry jam, damp hay, straw, grains, light citric prickle. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a modest salt quiver. Decent enough Gose.

Keg at The Doric Arch, Euston. It pours bright orange/blush with decent off-white head. The aroma is spritzy, fragrant, musty, tart berry and floral accents. The taste is dry, quite light, tart berry skin, light acidity, earthy, salted cracker, minerals and florals with a dry finish. Light body and moderate, prickly carbonation. Berry character is not quite as punchy as I had hoped for. It is refreshing and easy drinking, but could be done with more oomph.

(Keg at O’Connell’s, Tampere, 20170808) The beer poured amber and nearly clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had berries, caramel and sweetness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, berries, saltiness, caramel and bitterness. Aftertaste was salty, bready and bitter. A thin brew with berries. Why was this one brewed?
