On draught at the brewpub. Mid-gold, almost clear. A small film of white head and considerable lacing. Deep lemony grain notes in the scent, unfortunately accompanied by something akin to wet dog. Too much ’rawness’ - not sure how else to describe it - in the malt notes. Tastes sweet with an unbalanced savoury note closer to the surprisingly short finish. Problems abound but at the end of the day I’d give it another go.

Pullo ostettu suoraan paikan päältä kotiin. Pullo kertoo vahvuuden olevan 4.5% eikä 4.7%, kuten tällä sivulla mainitaan. Kullankeltainen, vain aavistuksen samea olut pienehköllä, pitsiä jättävällä vaahdolla. Tuoksu aika mieto, maltaisuutta ja humalaa havaittavissa. Maku maltainen, hieman humalan katkeroima, mutta varsin raikasta juotavaa. Jälkimaussa pieni katkeron puraisu, mutta toisaalta hieman tämä kääntyy vetisen puolelle.

On tap at Bryggeri Helsinki, Helsinki. Slightly hazy pale golden with a small, white head. Grainy aroma with some grassy, bready and slightly herbal notes. Moderate sweet with mild grainy flavours and a nice bitterness. A bit yeasty, but nice pilsner.

Bottle (shared by fatphil & marduk, thanks). Pours golden with whiteish head. The head doesn’t stay. Aroma is fruity, citrus, sweetness, malt, and slight graininess. A hazed blonde pilsner with a thick frothy lacing white head. In aroma, nice biscuit malt with loads of grassy German hops, light mineral notes, fragrant and good. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with grassy German hops, light mineral notes, light lemony notes, very nice and refreshing. On tap at brewery.

100ml on tap at the brewpub. Clear yellow-gold body, white layer, poor lacing. Mild aroma of herbal hops and pale malt. Mixed taste of grass and pale malts leading to a clean, drying end with distant bitterness. Easy to drink. Quite nice pilsener (Helsinki, 25.09.2015).

Bottle 330ml. @ home on the terrace. [ As Bryggeri Helsinki Pils ].[ Trade by oh6gdx ]. ABV: 4.5%. Clear medium orange color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain - hay, pale malt, old dusty malt. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet with a average duration, sugary sweet malt, hay - old grass, pale malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20150706]
