Pours rather clear blonde, huge white head, medium stability. Scent shows a strong Belgian yeast aroma, banana and spicyness both present. Taste is rough, bit bitter, unfresh maltyness, intense Belgian yeast. hops don't showcase a specific aroma, appart from some grassyness. Lower-medium tripel.

Tripel made for "Weyneshop", (in my view) unjustly listed as a brewery here. Bottle from - I think - Wijnegemse Drankenhandel. Inches thick, beaten egg-white, rocky, very thickly paper-lacing, foamy, stable head over an initially cristal clear , warm 'metallic pale orange' old gold hued beer with fierce carbonation sustaining the towering head, hazy and more orangey with sediment. Aroma of soggy old (if not rotting) grains, overripe green apples, lots of soapy coriander seed (almost bath foam-like), chicken 'jus', tomato peel, barbecue spices, pumpkin, fried turkey, minerals, rusty iron nails, dried basil leaves, hard caramel candy touch, tofu, tamarillo. Sourish onset, its sourishness accentuated by very fierce (over-)carbonation, light sweetish apple and cherry tomato note, some very vague background apricot, very minerally, smooth and slick bread crust- and lightly cracker-like malt body with clear, resounding metallic edge; finish adds indeed the announced floral, dried field flower-like hoppiness with a faint zesty accent (probably curaçao) and lingering coriander seed soapiness. Ends rather apple-ish, crusty and a bit metallic, with a pronounced glow of warming 'jenever'-like alcohol and that deeper, eventually almost 'electric' sourishness persisting, as well as a late resinous effect of peppery hop bitterishness. Probably a bit too old but I cannot imagine this being much better when young; an 'edelbier' in the OBP sense of the word more than a real tripel, but in any case very old school Belgian, with a less pleasant metallic edge to it. Bit weird, 'empty', alcoholic and not too well balanced even within its style range.

T: grainy, fruity, sweet orange, bit spicy, sweet fruity, bit yeasty, bit herbal, more on the sweet side, full body and higher carbonation, another sweet tripel but why not, almost enjoyed, 33cl bottle from ZBF 2018.

Sampled @ Zythos Bier Festival 2018. A clear deep golden beer with a mid sized good lasting white head. Aroma of mild citrusy hops, grainy malt. Taste of mild citrusy hops, soft orange fruits, spices, boring.
