Keyaki, as Fest Amber, but pretty sure it's the same. Totally wasted rating. Aroma very grainy, lots of malt, earthy. Taste is bit sweet, grain again, pretty nice but not outstanding. Rerate: Nov 14, Nakemeguro taproom. Nice marzen. Caramel maltiness, light bitterness, little bit spicy, but everything in order. Nothing outrageous, just good stuff. Nice.

Bottle from Tanakaya. Pours a nice deep copper with a finger of foam that lingers. Light bready aromas with some faint caramel notes. Clean and feels light for the abv on the palate. Light bitterness on the finish. Very nice and paired well with lunch.

140 ml glass on draft at Baird’s Bashamichi Taproom. Labeled as Fall Fest Lager. Clear golden yellow with off-white head. Aromas of citrus and floral notes. Tastes of citrus, malt, light floral notes, caramel. Medium-light body with a dry finish.

As Fall Fest Lager. 6.5% this year according to their website. On tap at beer Komachi. It pours an amber with an off-white head. Med-light bodied with a crackery sweet malty flavor & crisp bitter finish. A nose of sweet grains & mild caramel. Looks like a Vienna lager but tastes more like a pils.

Had this at Harajuku Taproom and it was called Fall Fest Lager. liquid autumn color. Nice bready malty nose, but the mouth is a bit too hoppy and the yeast doesn’t really work. Still decent depth, palatable and enjoyable. Lingering bready finish

2017: This is a completely different beer, good toasty malt, light caramel decent sweetness, a proper Oktoberfest beer, which is wasn't the first time I tried it. 2010: 5/2/6/3/12=2.8 Quite dark amber, almost medium brown, with no head! Fruity, slightly vinous aroma, lots of cherry. Malty flavor, earthy, fruity, low hops, caramel. Very smooth, almost flat. Quite ale-like. Rather boring, and it is not clear what they were aiming for. Not close to the style, but not clearly something else either.
