Bottle from a sampler. Pale straw color with a fizzy, fast dissolving 2-finger head. Wheat and slight grass aroma is very faint. Grassy, citrus taste. Fairly pleasant.

12oz bottle-pours a white head and hazy gold color. Aroma is wheat, sweet grain, perfumy, some lemon. Taste is wheat, sweet grain, perfumy/metallic/some lemon-hops. Fizzy effervescence.

2007 bottle...cloudy golden-thin head...smells lightly citrusy with some yeast, very simple to the nose...some malt smell as well, faint...simple, simple, and simple....some citrus peel and mild clove, a little bitter bite to the finish....well crafted, but thin in all ways

This beer is a clear golden color with a medium white head that dissipates steadily. Spotty lacing. Light aroma of wheat and citrus. Light-bodied and citrusy with some mild wheat and malt flavors. Clean, fruity finish with a touch of hops on the end. Clearly meant to be a lawnmower beer, but that is no excuse not to throw in a little more flavor.

Wheat magic, from Vermont. 12 oz twist off brown bottle, nice label. Ubiquitous pale yellow american beer color, has some streams of carbonation readily viewable. Aroma of mild floral hops. The initial taste is that of an ale, pale ale. I’ve tasted APA that is similar to this flavor. Mild hoppy citrus rind flavors that attack like any other pale ale. I’m not sure how they come up with this as being an American Wheat, I’m puzzled. Not too wheaty and there is not sludge on the bottom of the bottle. Something like Arcadia Whtsun or Southern Tier Hop Sun. These do not do much for the American Wheat style. If you are a hop lover I guess the hops in these brews make them more palatable for you. Except for the medium carbonation, I don’t find much anything like wheat in this brew. Finish is back of throat mild hops that are just ever so slightly bitter. A little disappointing for a wheat, though interesting and hoppy tasty. Boulder sweaty betty and Shiner Hefe are both much better than this as a wheat beer. I’ve tasted pale lagers that are more wheatlike than this.

This beer I do not like. It says that it is nice and crisp, but I felt it to be dry and almost cardboard tasting. Magic Hat seems to be trying to hard to put out original beers. THis one, though it tastes different does not taste at all good in my humble opinion. Would only drink it again if I had no recourse.

Poured a brown amber with white head. Smell was a grassy grainy aroma. The taste was a sour wheat and spice.

Draft. Pretty decent beer. Aroma is sweet, and flavor is a little fruity. The only downside was that it felt a little watery.
