Cask at Breadsall Priory, Derby. Amber with a dense white head; malt and hops aroma; predominantly malty flavour with a good bitter finish. Not exciting, but just what an ordinary bitter should be.

The Trafalgar Tavern, Greenwich. Aroma of malt and floral hop. Deep amber color with a frothy white head. LIghtly sweet malt start, somewhat balanced by hop, but the malt persists into the finish.

Cask at Crown Inn, Southampton. Nut brown. Flowery hoppy nose. Sweet and perfumy with medium body and soft mouthfeel. Some caramel, plenty of perfumy hops, mildly bitter finish. Not bad at all.

Half pint on cask. Golden brown. Low foam level. Floral aroma. Flavour of fruity sweetness and an overall floral impression. A touch of bitterness in the aftertaste. Light to medium bodied (The Old Crown, Bloomsbury 20.09.2006).

Cask: Light amber coloured, small firm, lacing white head; sweet (a bit fruity), malty nose with a distinctive floral bitterness; sweet (fruity) -bitter flavour, light bodied; soft, but distinctive sweet-bitter finish. A soft, well rounded Bitter.......

Cask at the Hog and Donkey, Kent Bizarre pub in the middle of the marsh just south of Herne. The beer was on gravity. Mid brown in colour with some hops and some malts. Bit thin in mouth with some acidity, short finish
