A light, golden thirst quenching beer with a tantalising, fruity aroma and refreshing hop finish. Pure sunshine in a glass.

Cask at City Arms, Manchester. Blonde summer ale. Citrus, fruit (wheat?) nose. Citrus flavor with light hops. Light malt. A light summer ale that should have been tried before Summer Lightning! Refreshing, though mild in taste.

Making an early appearance for 2009 at the Sailibury Arms, Cambridge. Straw with a thin off-white head; grainy aroma; light body with some citrus flavours; clean citrus finish. Rather boring.

Cask handpump at the Hobgoblin, Cowley Rd, Oxford Sat 3rd June. I thought this was a really good summer beer, Golden in colour, aroma a touch sweet but some floral notes and a very decent taste much better than I expected to be honest, some hops some malt. my one criticism was that it was slightly over sweet but that didn’t spoil what was otherwise a corking beer.

[Cask at GBBF 2005] A pale orange beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet and lightly malty as well as lightly hoppy - somewhat grassy in its presence. The flavor is sweet with light notes of diachethyl hiding in the background, but also notes of fruit, leading to a dry hoppy bitter end.

Cask at County Hotel JDW Ashford. Mid gold colour. Not much aroma to speak of and to be honest not a lot of flavour. Perhaps it was because I was having it with mexican food, but whilst drinkable it was very bland indeed
