bottled. Your standard american brow, not a whole lot else to say. A bit watery.

Reviewed from notes.
This was poured into a mug.
The appearance was a delicately bronzed to transparent brown color with a decent little white head. Moderate lacing.
The smell started off with some roasty malts, light toast, some nuttiness. Then gets kind of dirty to earthy.
The taste was mainly the same. Dirty/grassy/earthy aftertaste and finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body but has a really great sessionability about it. Boy, one could really slam these if they wanted to.
Overall, it’s like a session brown ale, if there really was one. Hmmmm...almost makes me wonder if it needed more body, lol, oh well, not sure.

Pours bright mahogany into a shaker. Off-white micro head with good retention recedes leaving spider lacing to coat surface. Sour roasted caramel and hay aromas. Dry with toasted sourdough upfront and a sour roasted nut finish.

Bottle. Mild vinous aroma. Clear brown colour. Small semi-stable light brown head. The flavour is roasted with a mild grainy finish, not bad, though.

12 oz bottle. Pours a reddish copper with a thin cream head; malty aroma with some dark chocolate; bitter chocolate flavour with some sweetness, but not too much; and an underlying bitterness to finish. A pleasant brown ale.

Pleasantly musty and moldy aroma that is reminiscent of an old sofa. Clear ruby brown, medium tan head, good lacing. Well balanced grassy hop and toasted malt. Subdued peanut finish. Not outstanding, but very well done, and easily enjoyable.

This ale poured a deep red colour with a nice, big, frothy, light tan head with a little lacing. To the nose there are scents of ripe fruit, baby powder, caramel and nuts. First swig was very smooth and creamy but a slight bit watery. Reasonably flavourful with flavours of malts, caramel and a little hopp flavour in the form of spruce? Finish was slightly bitter with hopps lingering with a floral caramel.
