Pours clear deep copper into a shaker. Off-white head with medium retention recedes to skim surface leaving no lacing. Toast and cereal aromas. Crisp and malty - difficult to find any flavors other than caramel malt. Dry, medium finish.

Bottle. Amber beer with a cream colored head. Wheat and spice aroma. Wheat and spice flavor with yeast and light citrus. Medium bodied. Wheat and spice lingers with yeast.

Bottle. Pours copper, slightly hazy with a little, white head. Nose is light malts, some fruitiness. There is a mildly sweet flavor with caramel, and also strong notes of roast and smoke, which were a bit odd at first but I got used to them. Faint bitterness. Light to medium in body with average carbonation. Not terrible.

Bottle from the Natomas BevMo. It pours amber with a decent, foamy off-white head. Smells a bit of roast malt. Body is thinnish and the carbonation is mild. Flavor is sort of a light wheat toast - not caramel, but something similar. There’s a pretty good bitterness offsetting the malt. But overall it’s sort of papery. Leaves a dry herb/veg/paper in the finish. This is not terrible, it’s just not super. I just had the thought that I might rather have a bud. This is doing bad things to my mind. It has many light bits of a good beer, and it’s growing on me a bit, but ....

A golden amber wheat with a thin white head. A metallic chalky oxidized malt, unpleasant. In mouth, a rather light chalky wheat ale with a bit of astringent notes, boring.

Refrigerated bottle poured into a weizen glass. Fairly easy to drink. I would agree that this is a dunkelweizen even though it is pretty different. Pours a dark amber with some head that disappear quickly and a lot of lacing. The dominant taste is malty dark wheat and is a little sour. Not a real complex pour, but not too hard to drink either.

Shitty hay aroma and mushrooms. Cloudy ochre, medium white head. Sour cracked wheat flavor with vanilla undertones. Harsh mouthfeel, very fizzy. It tastes better warm, but still not very good. Not particularly well done. More amber than wheat.

Bottle. Decent dark brown color, with a nice chocolate malt aroma. Rather dull tasting, though, with a little chocolate and a lot of cardboard. Not much wheat taste at all. Taste was a let-down.

12oz bottle–pours an off white head and hazy amber color. Aroma is light malt-candy sweetness, musty fruit. Taste is light malt, light spice, thin, musty fruit-peach. Lots of effervescence. Mediocre, although thin. 6/3/5/3/10=2.7. Now seeing they are claiming Dunkelweizen status, very thin. Thanks to Joe-jwc215 for sharing. 5/3/4/2/9=2.3
