Echigo Blonde 5% Can, it's a deep orange gold with a fruity bready biscuit aroma. The taste is grainy, candy-ish sweetness with grapes and a fruit grain profile. Ok and pretty good for the price. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can from daiei in himonya. Drank straight from the can on the commute home. Light grain aromas with a bit of fruity esters on the nose. Taste of bread and malt with a slight sweet taste. Some fruit as it warms up. Lively carbonation and light body. Crisp and dry finish with a little peppery spike. Not bad.

Can from Yamaya, Hitachinaka, Ibaraki, Japan. A golden/amber coloured pour with a thin white head on top. Fruity, yeasty aroma. Tastes similar, fruity, yeasty, slightly malty.

Pours beautiful golden with a nice top, has lively carbonation. Aroma is soft and very malty. Bread. Taste is also rather soft, has more body than usual macro lagers, although bittering hops feel better. Aftertaste is short and dry. Overall not really very exciting beer but tastes OK and is definitely better than your usual Asahi or Kirin. Good beer when it’s cold and the day is hot outside.

ładny zapach, drożdże, chmiel i owoce (morele?). złoty kolor ze średnią, ale długotrwałą pianą. w smaku dość pełne, drożdżowe, gładkie, z wyraźną ale nie za mocną ziołową goryczką.

Okay foamy head with a darker yellow-copper hue on the body. Soft aroma of malts. Flavour is unintrusive malt and caramel, with a slightly watery finish.

Clear golden coloured body with a thin off-white head that has a ton of very very small bubbles. Aroma of pale malt, light cardboard, some very mild fruit and a very very small amount of hops. Light-bodied; Sharp malty note with a touch of cardboard and alcohol, a touch of light hops and an otherwise mild finish. Aftertaste has a little earth, some light caramel, a few hops and mostly light malt coming through. Overall, not such a bad beer, rather mild, but showing a few nice flavours coming through. I sampled this 350 mL can purchased from City’Super! in Hong Kong (2 IFC location), SAR on 30-June-2011 (my birthday) for HK$18.00 sampled at home in Washington on the other side of the planet on 03-October-2011.

It claims to be patterned after North American ales, which I can understand, although the strong yeast character makes it somewhat reminiscent of a light Belgian ale as well. Decent hopping, although nothing like in a pale ale, with a strong very fruity yeast flavor and aroma. Decent malt bottom as well. Fruity, with yeast and malt predominately. A decent beer, good and easy to drink, though not wholly interesting or very original.
