Bottle @ Danish Ratebeer Summer Gathering, 2015. Pours black with a creamy beige head and lacings. Roast, citrus, chocolate and coffee. Odd exotic fruit mixed in - almost tasting artificial. Quite odd!

Bottle. Black with medium brown head. Aroma is roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, caramel and a little liquorice. Flavour is roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, caramel, little candy, medium sweet, liquorice, hop and medium bitter.

Intensiver schokoladiger, leider sehr süßer Antrunk. Würzige Karamellnoten mit süß trockenem Hintergrund, erdig. Die Süße wird zu stark und bringt so das Bier insgesamt zu Fall. 9/10/7/7/9/7

Sampled @ Danish Summer Gathering 2015 Schwarzes Bier mit einer schönen bräunlichen Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr röstmalzig, viel Kaffee, kräftig gehopft. Geschmack sehr schokoladig, Kaffee, hopfig bitterer Abgang, gut!

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are rich roast malt, chocolate, coffee, licorice, hops, alcohol and flowers. Nice bitter finish.

Sampled at 8th Danish Ratebeer Gathering, Ulfborg 2015, day 2. Opaque black color, medium sized light brown head. Aroma of malts, moderately toasty, dark malts, a hint of liquorice, earthy. Taste malts, liquorice, roast light to moderately, dark malts, a slight hint of pepper, quite a lot of malt bitter in the finish. Medium to full body, medium carbonation.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Black with a lasting light brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt and licorice. Flavor is very sweet and rather bitter. Sweet and rather bitter finish with lots of warming alcohol. Oily. 290815

Bottle. Creamy lightbrown good mostly lasting head. Black colour. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. Powerfull bitter and sweet flavor. Long fantastic complex finish. Creamy palate. Very nice.

Draft: Black with a creamy tan head. Aroma is oily, coffee, licorice.... Flavour is TOO sweet.....chocolate, coffee malts, licorice, orange candy.....Thick....Tasty at first, but way too sugary after the first few sips....
