And so it came to pass that six like minded people met on the 20th day of November in the year of 2016: those six people shared twenty five fine beers. Bomber. Thin tanned head on a dark brown body. Chocolate and caramel in the nose, trace of dark berries: taste all about the chocolate really, although there are also traces of other flavours like nuts, vanilla and piney resin, fairly sweet flavour wise. My sweet tooth liked it.

Bottle @ Rich’s 7k tasting, many thanks to Richard Clink for this! Pours dark with thin medium tan head. Comforting chocolate aroma. Taste is richly sweet and boozy, lots of chocolate. Just a bit too sweet, struggled to finish.

Bottle shared at MTG III from Rich cheers dude; dark brown pour with a thin tan head, aroma has dark roast, taste has big chocolate, dark fruits, sweet malts.

Bottle shared at Mechazilla event. Huge roasted malt nose with dark fruit and umami notes. Soy sauce, salted chocolate and light treacle notes on the nose. Oily on the palate and more soy sauce, some milk chocolate sweetness and piney, bitter hops on the finish. Pitch black color. Sweet chocolate caramel cherries but simplistic nose. Super sweet with marshmallow. Full body nice

Boise Imperial Stout Tasting. Very dark brown pour with a bit of tan head. Sweet nose is piney hops and dark chocolate, roast. Hints of being a CDA, which I love. Taste is big in the roast department and also sweet vanilla and bitter piney hops. Nice to get a big hoppy imperial stout from time to time.

22oz bottle thanks to Steve. pours out black topped with a tan head. Nose is molasses pine hops some melon sweetness. Taste is more of the heavy sweetness pine resin hops a great sweetness. This is very nice.

Bottle at home.. Thanks joe... Dark black... Thick tan head... Soft dry chocolate roast malts.. Light nutty chocolate roast malts nose.. Rich deep chocolate.. Massive sweet chocolate roast.. Big chocolate.. Rich roast malts... Dry cherry chocolate finish... Quite a lot of raw alcohol in finish

Bottle 22fl.oz. @ [ Danish Ratebeer Summer Gathering 2015 (TEODRBSG15) ] - fonefan & Brugmansia House, Denmark. [ As Three Floyds / Mikkeller Warpigs Black Flame ].Clear dark black brown color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, light brown head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, molasses, chocolate, coffee, dark fruit. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, licorice, salty licorice, dark roasted. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20150829]
